Learning Disability
The Social Care and Health Directorate Learning Disability Division work to support people who live in South Tyneside to live more independent and enjoyable lives. We help people to enjoy the same rights as others, to have more choice and to become more involved in activities in the local community. We work towards offering people individualised services which meet their needs including:
- day and employment opportunities,
- short breaks,
- residential, domiciliary and Supported Living options.
