Lots And Lots On In The New What's On!

 7  Dec   2009

Family fun days, healthy walks and the return of the hugely popular International Magic Festival are just some of the featured events in the newly released South Tyneside What's On guide.

This free guide, incorporating The Customs House programme, is bursting with a fantastic range of fun events and entertainment. From theatre shows to walks, talks to craft activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Councillor Tracey Dixon, Lead Member for Culture and Wellbeing said: "This is the essential guide to what's going on from January to April next year, packed full of all known events in South Tyneside. One of the things I love about South Tyneside is that there are loads of things to do that are free of charge or won't cost a fortune to enjoy!"

She added: "It's not too late to join in with some of the festive activities that are taking place throughout the borough over the coming weeks either. Many of our attractions have organised some great Christmas activities, and don't forget the firm family favourite the pantomime, taking place at The Customs House and other venues. There are also some fantastic Christmas Carol concerts planned too, and with entertainment and music across our town centres you will easily get into the festive spirit."
