Families living in the Lukes Lane area of Hebburn can enjoy a feast of free activities at a fun day taking place later this month.
The family fun day is being held on Saturday 17th July, from 11am to 3pm, at Lukes Lane Community Association, Marine Drive, Hebburn.
There will be a bouncy castle, face painting and a range of activities provided by the Council's Play and Sports Development teams. Wizzardora will also be making a special appearance to keep the youngsters entertained with her magic tricks between 11.30am and 12.30pm.
Families will also get the chance to take part in planting activities with Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle as well as sign up for the Lukes Lane estate Gardening Competition.
The competition has been organised by the Jarrow and Hebburn Area Team in partnership with South Tyneside Homes and gives residents the chance to win £50 worth of shopping vouchers for the best garden. Those who register on the day will receive a free plant to help get them started.
