Other waste
We operate a separate collection service for sharps (needles) that must be presented in a yellow sharps box. This service is free of charge for collections from domestic properties, and collections are undertaken quarterly, i.e. January, April, July, October.
If you need to register for the sharps collection service, please contact your District Nurse who will contact the council for you.
Dressings, bandages nappies etc. may be placed in your normal refuse bin, but please bag securely beforehand.
