Fitness classes
We offer a great selection of fitness classes to suit all interests and fitness levels. All fitness classes for ages 13+ (13 to 15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult).
Unless otherwise stated, classes cost:
- £3.40 for Get Active members
- £4.55 for Non members
- £1.80 for Get Active plus members

A class combining 20 minutes of aerobics, steps, bums and tums for a good overall workout. | |

If you can spell you can Bokwa! Dance the digits and sweat the alphabet. Bokwa uses letters and numbers as placements for the feet, no complicated dance patterns so if you can spell and if you can move then you can Bokwa! You will have so much fun that you will forget you are exercising and burning calories. Cost- Member £3.40, Non member £4.20 | |

This class involves non-contact boxing, aerobics and circuit training. It helps muscular toning, strength, movement improves balance, co-ordination and flexibility. Cost - Member £3.40, Non member £4.20. | |

Using adult-sized weighted hula-hoops, hoop-dance allows you to have fun while energising your body, relieving stress and getting exercise. Hoop-dance provides an all over aerobic, toning and strengthening workout and burns an average of 400 calories per hr. First class is FREE and then £5 per class or a set of 4 classes for £15 to be used at any time. Advanced booking is recommended due to a strict limit of 15 people. A weight based class set to music. It is a non impact resistance training programme utilising bar bells and adjustable weights to strengthen and tone the body. This class suits all levels with minimum coordination required, designed to change the shape of the body. Cost - Member £3.40, Non member £4.20. | |

T'ai Chi consists of a series of slow, graceful movements, gently aiding mobility, suppleness and flexibility of the joints. Those who regularly practice have found relief from stress, high blood pressure, ME, MS, insomnia, back, shoulder and knee problems. Exercises are adapted for anyone with physical limitations.
