Child protection procedures
Our Child Protection Procedures set out the professional processes in South Tyneside Council for agencies to work together to address issues of child protection in the area.
The procedures apply to all children up to the age of 18 years including unborn babies. They apply if a child is suffering, or likely to suffer, significant harm as a result of abuse or neglect.
