Terms and conditions
The council's standard terms and conditions for the supply of goods or services, as appropriate, shall apply to all purchase orders, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, other than at times where the council has:
- stated that a Standard Form Contract for Works applies, or
- agreed special conditions with the contractor through an existing contractual arrangement with South Tyneside Council or the North Eastern Procurement Organisation (NEPO).
Any terms or conditions the contractor may purport to apply under any sales offer or similar document shall be null and void, and at all times the council or NEPO conditions of contract shall prevail.
A copy of these terms and conditions may be inspected at the office of the Head of Legal Services, Town Hall and Civic Offices, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE33 2RL.
