Every child needs a stable loving family to grow up in, but for different reasons this isn't always possible. 

We aim to help families to stay together where we can and if the child will be safe if we do this. When we can't manage this, we provide care in other ways.

We provide services to:

  • protect children and young people who are or who might be at risk of harm 
  • provide extra help for those caring for a disabled child or young person  
  • provide fostering, adoption and other support when a child or young person needs to live away from their family
