As part of South Tyneside's drive for continuous improvement and in response to the Munro Review we have reshaped and reconfigured our children's social care services to ensure that children and families receive the right support at the right time.

This is an exciting time to join South Tyneside and we are now looking for an inspirational and effective manager to help us realise our ambitions.

You will have extensive social work experience and must be able to demonstrate clear direction and leadership to a social work led team of staff. You will need to be able to work independently as well as be an effective team player.
