Children and young people under 18
If you are looking for advice, care and support for a child or young person, see children with disabilities
The Children with Disabilities team works with young people with disabilities and their families, helping them through childhood and adolescence, and preparing for adulthood.
Over 18s
If you are 18 or over and you have a learning disability, then contact our Adult Learning Disability team.
If you are 18 or over and have difficulties not related to a learning disability then contact our older person and physical disability teams.
These teams work closely with colleagues in the Children with Disabilities team to prepare young people from their 17th birthday onwards for a smooth transition to adult services.
