The free, handy booklet is full of exciting events and entertainment to keep the whole family entertained and active all the way through to April.

Jam packed full of events, activities and entertainment taking place throughout the Borough, the essential guide has something for everyone to enjoy, from family friendly crafts and walks to exhibitions and sporting activities.

It also features the return of the International Magic Festival, which runs from Wednesday 7th until Sunday 11th March. The annual extravaganza is back with another top class line up of magicians, illusionists and mind readers from across the globe.  Prepare to be amazed at the Family Magic Show and left astounded at one of the Gala Shows.

Councillor Tracey Dixon, Lead Member for Leisure and Community Safety, said: "The spring edition of What's On in South Tyneside is full to the brim with activities to suit all ages and budgets.

"Whether it's keeping up the festive spirit with a pantomime, blowing away the cobwebs on a coastal walk or being astounded at the International Magic Festival, you'll be spoilt for choice for things to do.  So start the year as you mean to go on by getting out and about in South Tyneside!"

The What's On guide is a joint publication between South Tyneside Council and The Customs House. Turn the guide over to see what's happening at The Customs House between January and April.
