If you think you need some support or advice about a drug or alcohol problem, you can contact us on weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm (4.30 on Fridays).
Drug and alcohol misuse can affect people in many ways and can cause difficulties with housing, finances, relationships, criminal justice and employment.
For many, physical health is affected and for some there are mental health problems too. An individual who has both mental health and a drug or alcohol problem is defined as "dual diagnosis".
It is recognised that a dual diagnosis for people with a mental health problem should be seen as usual rather than an exception.
FRANK is the national drugs information and advice service, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The service is free, confidential and operated by fully trained advisers.
