The people of South Tyneside are invited to enjoy a social evening and help to boost the Mayor's Charity.

The charity event is taking place on Thursday 8^th March, from 7.30pm to 11pm, at the Alberta Social Club, Railway Street in Jarrow. Tickets cost £3 with entertainment from Blue Velvet.

Proceeds from the evening will go to the Mayor's Charity, which this year is supporting St Clare's Hospice, Arthritis Care and Relay for Life.

The Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Jim Sewell said: "I hope that people will come along. All those who attend will not only have a great time but also give valuable support to these fantastic charities, which are doing marvellous work supporting people in the Borough."
