Bulky collections
'Bulky waste' applies to any household items that are too big or heavy for you to dispose of in your bin.
- Up to eight items can be collected
- Includes items such as furniture, electrical, carpets and fridge/freezers
- £13 per collection

DIY collections
- Includes items such as heavy garden waste/branches, building rubble, ceramic tiles, doors and kitchen/bathroom units
- Collections start from £38

House/business premise clearances
Clearances include full or partial clearances of the contents of occupied or unoccupied properties.

Business collections
We offer competitive waste and recycling collections on a daily basis as well as individual collections to meet the needs of your business. We can also offer light equipment and office transfers within the South Tyneside area. Prices start at £60.

Useful information
- Please do not put waste out until the day it is to be collected, as it may cause an obstruction
- Do not overfill bags
- Any items longer than 2 metres (6ft) may not be collected
- If your collection is from a back lane, please put your house number on the back door or wall
- Put items out before 7.30am and ensure access is available until 5pm
- Stack all items to be collected tidily in the same area
