Children with disabilities
Having a child with a disability can be as rewarding as any other child, but throws up extra pressures.
The Children with Disabilities team supports children and young people and their families, up to their 18th birthday.
We work with children who have a disability that has a major effect on their ability to live a normal life. In each case we talk to the child and their family and carry out an assessment that looks at the whole situation.
