Street collections
To collect money or sell articles for the benefit of charitable or other purposes in South Tyneside, you need a street collection licence from South Tyneside Council.

Consumer complaints
If you have a complaint, we advise that you contact the trader, preferably in the form a letter (with proof of delivery).

Other appeals
There is no legal right of appeal against the refusal of a street collection permit, however, you may write to the licensing team and request that the decision is reviewed.
