We can give you support and advice based on our experience of
helping businesses in South Tyneside, and also as a partner in Business Link North East.
We also work closely with TEDCO (Tyneside Economic Development Company), who provide business advice to businesses starting up or expanding.
Business advice and counselling
We can help you receive impartial and confidential advice, including assistance with preparing a business plan. We can also source counselling, including crisis counselling, from TEDCO, or through Business Link.
Financial assistance
We run a number of grant schemes to help people start up in business and to help existing businesses expand and create jobs. We can also help you to access funding available through other support organisations.

We hold a register of industrial and office premises and land, which the council and private agents have available. We can provide you with listings to suit your requirements.
