Carers Strategy
South Tyneside Council's Social Care and Health Directorate in partnership with the Primary Care Trust have produced, in consultation with carers and the voluntary community a carers' strategy for South Tyneside.
The Strategy covers plans to:
- Finding, valuing and consulting with carers
- Supporting carers
- Keeping carers up to date
- Training and opportunities for carers
- Supporting carers in employment and returning to work
- Improving, developing and continuing partnerships.
