Ordering Procedures

Standard Stock List and Authorised Referrers
This catalogue shows all code numbers and states size and weight restrictions for all standard stock supplied by the Centre.

In all cases when ordering adjustable equipment it is essential that you provide details of the required size for the client –
Seating – all measurements should be from the floor to the top of the seat
Walking Equipment - all measurements should be from the floor to the clients’ wrist
Raisers – indicate height and type of raisers required and the type/size of furniture to be raised e.g. double divan bed, easy chair on casters etc

Failure to provide the Centre with this information will result in deliveries being delayed.

Specials Stock List
 Any equipment that is not listed within the Standard Stock List is classed as a Special order. Specials must be requested on the Special Requisition forms, supported by a Senior Authorisers signature. Specials should be accompanied with details of the supplier, catalogue number (if applicable) and/or supported with a quote.

Failure to provide the Centre with this information will result in deliveries being delayed.


Correct procedures MUST be followed when ordering equipment from the Centre.

Who can Order

  1. The appropriate Professional staff authorised to order specific equipment are identified on each page throughout the Standard Stock Catalogue.
  2. To ensure clients receive the correct equipment and know how to use it safely, home assessments and follow up visits or demonstrations should be undertaken by the authorised referrers.
