Developing childcare in South Tyneside
We would like to hear from anyone wishing to provide childcare in South Tyneside.
The EYDCP Development Team can help you by:
- Identifying where new childcare could be best located and developed
- Advising you on the requirements of the National Care Standards
- Offering guidance on the training requirements for staff
- Supporting you throughout your registration process and beyond
The EYDCP Business Support Officer offers advice on funding opportunities that might be available to you as a registered childcare provider, and offers support regarding your sustainability as a business.
Ofsted do not currently register childcare which operates for less than 2 consecutive hours a day or is provided solely for children aged 8 years and above. The EYDCP Development Team will happily offer advice and guidance to providers of unregistered care.
