Neighbourhood Management

Neighbourhood Management is a mechanism to concentrate attention at the “micro” level in order to stimulate significant improvements in an area. It allows us to coordinate service provision and address key issues more effectively, with the aim of providing a joined-up approach that will make a significant impact on neighbourhoods.

We intend to use the four-year neighbourhood element programme of the Safer and Stronger Communities Fund to pilot a neighbourhood management pilot in North Jarrow.

Neighbourhood Renewal Funding will be utilised to develop the approach in Boldon Colliery New Town.
