Free drop in session
Helping you to secure employment with South Tyneside's largest employer.
The Drop In Session aims to raise awareness of possible Careers with the Council, provide information on jobs to which we recruit to on a regular basis, and our commitment to employing a diverse workforce.
You can call in anytime between 10am and 3pm and have
a chat about the following:
- Information sessions
Members of the Organisational Development and People
Team will be giving information on how, when and where we advertise, information on current vacancies, and advice on completing application forms - Real jobs
Representatives from Building Cleaning, Catering, Clerical Register, Leisure and Road Safety will be giving information on how you can sign up to be contacted when they have vacancies - Learning opportunities
Adult and Community Learning will be giving information
and advice on a number of adult learning opportunities such as Skills for Jobs, Skills for Life and many others. You can even sign up for some opportunities during the session! - Welfare rights
Talk to members of the Welfare Rights Team about benefits and employment rights
