The 2008 Good Design Awards presentation event was held on 4 June 2008 at the Customs House.
The purpose of the South Tyneside Good Design Awards is to recognise and encourage design excellence throughout the borough.
Members of the public and design professionals were invited to nominate schemes for a Good Design Award and thirteen schemes were short-listed for an Award.
