Review of Licensing Policy Statement

The council as the Licensing Authority is responsible for the licensing of alcohol, entertainment and late night refreshment.

The Licensing Act 2003 states that the council must review its licensing policy statement every three years.

The original policy came into effect in January 2005 and has now been reviewed.

  • Sell or supply alcohol
  • Provide regulated entertainment
  • Supply hot food or drinks between 11pm and 5am
