The licensing objectives
There are four key objectives that applicants for licences must seek to promote. These are:
- Prevention of crime and disorder
- Public safety
- Prevention of public nuisance
- Protection of children from harm
All are of equal importance and are the only matters that can be taken into account when applications are considered.
