Why are we reviewing the current scheme and proposing changes?
We have listened to residents who want residents' parking schemes for their street or area.
We also want more flexibility than the current scheme allows so that, for example, elderly and disabled people would not pay any potential parking permit charges and we would be able to include businesses in the new scheme. The current system only applies to homes.
