Making representations about a planning application

We are required by law to publicise planning applications. We will publicise applications on the Council’s website, by writing to adjoining owners or occupiers, or by posting a site notice on or near the site, or by placing a notice in the local press. The type and extent of publicity will depend on the nature of the application. For most householder applications, publicity will be limited to letters to adjoining owners or occupiers. In these pages, when we use the words "you" or "your", this means any person or organisation that wishes to make representations about a planning application.
