This screen will allow you to search for an enforcement notice stored electronically within the Council's system. The system holds all enforcement notices and breach of condition notices from 2000. The records of Enforcement Notices served between 1974 and 1999 can be viewed at the Council's Offices. If you are unable to find an enforcement notice using the on-line register then please call 0191 4247421.

To find an enforcement notice that has been served please enter the search detail below. You can search by using any of the search fields, for example if you search by Monkton Ward you will bring up all of the enforcement notices served within the last five years for that particular Ward. If you are searching by reference you will need to enter the complete enforcement reference number, e.g. ENF/07/0001.

Once you have entered your search details, click on the 'Search' button and a list of enforcement notices will be presented. If there are more notices than space available on the page, you can use the 'Next Page' and 'Previous Page' to view other notices. When you have found a notice you want to view, click on the notices title and it will display more information including a list of documents available. To view these documents you will need the Adobe Acrobat reader which is available free from Adobe's web site.
