Young Person's Services Coordinator
I am responsible for public library services for children and young people right across the borough, through the specialist team based in Flick at the Central Library, and branches, and for the many fun and educational activities we run, from Baby Bouncing to Homework Support and Chatterbooks groups. Community Development Coordinator - Lindsay Casselden
I am responsible for managing adult services in the Lending Library, branches, Sight and Sound and the Home Readers' Service. My special task is to encourage people who do not use their libraries to come in and see what we can do for them. Resources and E-services Coordinator
I am responsible for ICT within South Tyneside libraries, which includes the management and implementation of e-government, the People's Network and the Library Management System. I also have responsibility for the management of the audiovisual and book fund, and the work of the Support Services department whose core function is to provide a co-ordinating and supporting role for all libraries and departments with regard to stock. Information and Education Coordinator
I manage the Reference and Information Services in South Tyneside Libraries. Although all Branch Libraries have small Reference Collections and People's Network computers the major Reference and Local History Collections and the Learning Centre(22 PCs) are housed in the Central Library in South Shields serviced by specialist staff. |
