There are a number of courses taking place
within South Tyneside that are available for those wanting to learn
about computers.

Open learning courses such as BBC Computer's Don't Bite and BBC Webwise.
These courses are free and usually take place throughout learning

Adult and Community Learning
Short courses are now taking place at Ocean Road Community Centre,
from a beginners introduction to computers to tracing family history
on the Internet.
All are FREE to anyone over 16yrs old who would
like to learn something NEW using a computer. They range from tasters
for people who have never even dared use a computer to tasters
that are suitable for the more confident user.
