Independent Parental Supporter (IPS)Volunteer providing practical and emotional support to parents. Individual Education Plan (IEP)Programme of learning objectives and teaching strategies. Local Education Authority (LEA)The body responsible for schools and for assessing and providing for SEN. Learning DifficultySignificantly greater difficulty in learning than other children of the same age, or disability which hinders use of general educational facilities.
