South Tyneside has a rich legacy of great parks.  Many of these have been established for well over a hundred years so they form an important part of our cultural heritage.

Our parks have a big part to play in the life of the Borough and there are exciting plans for ensuring that our parks are even better in the future. 

The let’s do it campaign will inform people what you can do in parks and how you can get involved.  Examples include joining a friends of the park group, taking part in guided walk or just giving your opinion on the future of parks.  Plus there are many activities and events held in parks throughout the year.

So lets do it....visit parks and get involved.
