Our CPA history since 2002
Although we have a strong record of improvement under the CPA framework, the test is becoming ever more difficult to achieve the top CPA scores.
We are once again in the highest category of an excellent 4 star performance, achieving the maximum four out of four score for the Environment, Culture and Benefit service areas.
CPA 2007 - 'The harder and different test'
CPA 2007 was revised following detailed consultation with councils. It is now not only 'harder', but also 'different' in that there is a wider basket of performance indicators assessed against pre-determined government thresholds with a greater emphasis on outcomes for local people measured via customer satisfaction surveys.
