Elections: Register to vote

Register online or by phone

You should register online or by phone if:

  • All of the names on your voter registration form are correct
  • You do not need to add or remove any names
  • Each persons nationality is correct, and
  • You do not need to make any other changes, other than:
    • To tell us if someone does not want their name to show on the edited register, or
    • To tell us someone wants a postal voting application form

What you'll need

  • You need a telephone with a star button (*) or internet access
  • When asked, you must enter your two part security code, which can be found in the top right hand corner of the form
  • You will then be asked to confirm the household details on your registration form

Please note:

  • Households with 5 or more people registered are not able to register over the phone or online
  • Calls from mobiles may be charged at a standard network rates
