How to access information in the Publication Scheme

Most of the information in the Publication Scheme can be accessed directly via the Council’s website or by using an appropriate link. Please note at the time of producing this Publication Scheme all external website address where correct. Where information is required in leaflet or other form the Publication Scheme will identify the location where the information can be located.

All local libraries in the borough have public access to computers with internet facilities to the Scheme and hold paper versions of certain Council publications. To see which library is nearest to you please view the library address list.

If you require the information in a particular format for example Braille, or large print you will need to clearly state this in your FOI request. South Tyneside Council will take all reasonable steps to satisfy your request but there may be a delay in providing the information in an alternative format.
