The Jarrow Neighbourhood Management Partnership was set up in April 2006 with government funding. The area covers central Jarrow, Low Simonside and Hill Park and Lawson.
The partnership makes decisions that will help to improve the area and aims to:
‘deliver better, joined up and more cost effective services that will reflect the Jarrow Neighbourhood area, meet local needs, allow local people to influence and shape those services and make a difference to the quality of life and well-being for residents’.
