Geoff Ford

Vice Chair of the LSP
Geoff Ford is Vice Chair of the LSP and Chair of South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership, the priority theme group for enterprise and jobs.
Geoff is also chairman of Ford Components, a manufacturing company founded by his grandfather in 1910.
Geoff has led on numerous achievements, such as South Tyneside being awarded the Regional Capital of Enterprise in 2005 and played a major role in securing £16.2m Local Enterprise Growth Initiative funding for the borough.
He has been instrumental in engaging the private sector in the LSP through the Manufacturing Forum and Business Forum.
At a personal level, Geoff's contribution to the enterprise and jobs agenda in South Tyneside has been recognised at the highest level with an MBE for services to enterprise in South Tyneside as well as the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion.
