Acting Director of Public Health for South Tyneside
Marietta Evans is Acting Director of Public Health for South Tyneside.
She recently took up the post following the retirement of the previous Director, Ruth McKeown at the end of April.
The post is a joint appointment between South of Tyne Primary Care Trust and the council.
Marietta drives forward the health inequalities agenda on behalf of the LSP and has a particular interest in alcohol harm reduction in the borough.
