Mark Dennett
Chief Superintendent and Area Commander for South Tyneside
Mark Dennett is the Area Commander of Police for South Tyneside.
Mark has been in his current post for less than a year and has quickly became an enthusiastic member of the LSP.
Mark is greatly committed to an area and neighbourhood approach to policing, working in partnership with all agencies and local people to deliver a joined up and coherent police service.
Mark made a significant contribution to the council's successful Beacon Award for Local Area Agreements and Local Strategic Partnerships and is a key member of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, the LSP's priority theme group for Safer and Stronger Communities.
