The North East Chamber of Commerce is a cutting edge independent membership organisation representing the interests of over 4,500 North East businesses on a regional, national and international level. We provide a comprehensive range of business services, products and expert training to help businesses realise their potential.
With over 200 staff, we are one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in the UK and represent the independent voice of North East business. We keep our members informed, increase their business prospects, reduce their costs, and protect their business - ultimately increasing their profits. Our resource and influence as the largest, most proactive, business organisation in the North East make membership of NECC an essential business tool.

Representation of your business

We are also here to stand up for businesses when decisions made by local authorities, the Regional Development Agency or event utilities begin to adversely affect day-to-day operations. Examples include a push for improvements in the availability of broadband, enhancements of signage to prominent locations and changes to city-centre parking arrangements.
NECC has a range of sector forums covering areas including manufacturing, construction, logistics, business services and contact centres. These forums provide businesses within these industry sectors the opportunity to discuss and develop industry specific issues and initiatives, share best practice and network.
