Map Tools
The navigation tool appears at the top left of the map. Click on the arrows to move the map North, South, East or West.
You can use the zoom in tool in two ways:
You can select the zoom in tool and click on the map to zoom in closer on that particular area.
or
You can select the zoom tool, click on the map and hold down the mouse button, dragging the pointer over an area of the map. Release the mouse button and the area you have selected will be shown in more detail.
Select the zoom out tool and click on the map to zoom out around the area you have selected.
Select the centre tool and click on the map to centre the map on the area you have selected.
The information tool can be used to find information about places highlighted on the map. Select the information tool and click on an icon to find out more about it. Details about the facility or service you have clicked on will be displayed underneath the map.
The show all tool will zoom out to show the whole map of South Tyneside.
