French Aerial Dance Group Get Ready For Performance On Vertical Stage

High Hopes: The French Aerial Ballet Dancer Troupe Companie Retouramont from Twin Town Epinay sur Seine are in South Shields practising for their performance on the vertical stage of the town hall façade.

Drawing their inspiration from the architecture and contours of the magnificent Victorian building, they are spending the week rehearsing for their specially choreographed display on Friday (18th March) at 6pm which will see artistes suspended from the famous clock tower.

Leading up to the main event, South Tyneside residents and visitors to the town will be treated to fascinating previews of the aerial ballet show, similar in style to the acclaimed performances in the Millennium Dome exhibition.
