To submit a householder planning application by post, download and print 3 copies of the relevant application form:
- Householder planning application form
- Householder and conservation area consent
- Householder and listed building consent
Please answer all of the questions that are relevant to your application.
If a question is not relevant to your application, then please write "not applicable" or N/A next to the question.
Send the three copies of your completed application form to:

National requirements
The information set out under the heading National Requirements must be submitted.
Tyne and Wear requirements
The information set out under the heading Tyne and Wear Requirements will only be needed if your application is affected by one or more of the requirements listed. For example, should the proposed extension be beneath the crown spread of existing trees then a tree survey will be required.
