Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy

We published our draft Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy (JMWMS) in July 2007. The document was available for public consultation and comment from 19 July to 20 August. Comments were received from over 1,000 corporate bodies and members of the public. Most responses were very supportive of the strategy.

These comments were taken into consideration as the final version of the Strategy was prepared. The detailed results of the Consultation Exercise are provided within Appendix A to Annex E the 'Summary of Consultation Responses EA1' of the document commencing from page 286 onwards. This is the final version.
