Street Design Manual
The South Tyneside Streetscape Design Guide was first produced in 2006 and highlights the many issues facing the council as we seek to improve the quality of streets in South Tyneside.
However the document did not go far enough in pinning down co-ordinated pallettes of products for designers and road workers to use on site.
The Street Design Manual 2008 fills that gap and will act as the easy reference guide for council officers, developers, and others to pick which products to use on a particular site.
