Cycling is a great way to keep fit and there is an ever-expanding network of on-road bike lanes and off-road cycle paths in South Tyneside.
Public bike racks are provided throughout the town.
Folding cycles are permitted on Metro and the Ferry. For those with conventional bikes, Chichester Metro station has cycle lockers available.
