Ticket Information

There are many ticket options available to help you make the most of the region's transport services:

  • Single and return tickets can be used for wither Metro, bus or ferry journeys.
  • One day tickets can be used for Metro or bus
  • Transfer tickets are used for journeys requiring use of more than one type of transport i.e. Metro and bus
  • Day Rover tickets allow you unlimited travel within Tyne and Wear - saving you money
    they are valid on Metro, Ferry, Buses* and Northern Rail services between Sunderland and Blaydon.
    * Almost all local bus services.
