South Tyneside YOS runs a variety of programmes designed to help children and young people aged 8-17 years who may be at risk of being involved in crime and/or antisocial behaviour.

Some of the children and young people with whom we work will not have been charged with committing any offences, however they may have various concerns in their life that suggest that, without support, they might become involved in antisocial behaviours or move on to commit crimes.

The Youth Justice board has ranked South Tyneside’s prevention programmes as amongst the very best in the country and we are very proud of the work we do and the achievements of the children and young people we support.

If you know of any young person who you feel would benefit from involvement in these programmes then please use the contact details listed for individual programmes.
